A small island in the lagoon, one of Venice's earliest settlements, now almost uninhabited and very peaceful. Highlights include the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, featuring Byzantine mosaics, and the Devil's Bridge. It is easily combined with a visit to Burano.
