Palm Jumeirah

The world's most famous artificial island outlines a giant palm tree over the Persian Gulf. Its fronds are dotted with beachfront villas and its outer ring gathers some of Dubai's most luxurious hotels. The monorail runs from end to end and at The Pointe or the Boardwalk you can enjoy sunsets with views of the Marina and the skyline. To understand its shape, the best thing is to see it from above, from The View observation deck or on a scenic flight.
