Mohammed V Square is the main administrative center of Casablanca, surrounded by neo-Moorish buildings from the 1920s and 1930s such as the Wilaya, the Palace of Justice, and the former Post Office. Its large fountain, pigeons, and gardens make it a meeting point for families. It is the best place to discover the architecture of the French protectorate, which fuses Art Deco with Moroccan tradition. At night, the illuminated buildings create a very elegant atmosphere. 📷 Photographs courtesy of Farid mernissi (CC BY-SA 4.0) and Hamza Izourane (CC BY-SA 4.0), via Wikimedia Commons.
