Sohail Castle is an Andalusian fortress situated on a 38-metre hill at the mouth of the Fuengirola River. Built on former Roman settlements, it offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean, the promenade and the Sierra de Mijas. Following its restoration, it has become one of the city's main cultural venues, hosting concerts, festivals, medieval markets and other events throughout the year.
