Oasis de Al Ain

The Al Ain Oasis brings together more than 147,000 date palms watered by the falaj, an ancient underground canal system recognized by UNESCO. Its shaded paths invite you to stroll among orchards, irrigation ditches and traditional farms. A haven of freshness and tranquility right in the middle of the desert. An interpretive center explains how the falaj works and the importance of the date palm.
