Barrio histórico de Al Fahidi

Al Fahidi, also known as Bastakiya, retains the look of early 20th-century Dubai: coral and mud-brick houses, narrow alleys and wind towers that cooled homes before air conditioning. Today its courtyards host art galleries, small museums and cafés to try cardamom tea. A peaceful and charming walk alongside the Creek. The best time to visit is early in the morning or at sunset, when the temperature is most pleasant.
