Bosque de bambú de Arashiyama

Path that winds through a towering bamboo forest in the Arashiyama district, west of Kyoto. It can be combined with the Tenryu-ji temple, the Togetsukyo bridge, and boat rides on the river. Access is free; to avoid crowds, it is best to go at dawn.
