Templo Kiyomizu-dera

Historic Kyoto temple famous for its large wooden terrace, built without nails and suspended over the hillside, overlooking the city. It is reached by walking up the charming traditional streets of Higashiyama. It is gorgeous in spring, with the cherry blossoms, and in autumn, with the red leaves.
