Santuario Fushimi Inari Taisha

Kyoto's most famous shrine, known for its thousands of vermilion torii gates that form tunnels up the slopes of Mount Inari. The full walk to the top takes about two to three hours. Admission is free and it is open day and night; early in the morning there are far fewer people.
