The Trevi Fountain is Italy's most famous fountain and one of the most visited monuments in the world. Designed in the Baroque style and inaugurated in 1762, it is dominated by an imposing sculpture of Neptune surrounded by mythological figures and sea horses. According to tradition, tossing a coin with your right hand over your left shoulder guarantees a return to Rome one day. Its spectacular nighttime lighting and architecture make it one of the most photographed spots in the Italian capital.
