Just 45 minutes from Tangier, Asilah is a small coastal town famous for its blue and white medina, enclosed by 15th-century Portuguese ramparts facing the Atlantic. Its promenade, featuring the Krikia bastion, is the perfect spot to watch the sunset over the ocean. Every summer it hosts an international art festival that fills its walls with murals. It makes for an ideal day trip from Tangier, combining a stroll, a beach visit, and fresh fish at the port restaurants. 📷 Photos courtesy of Dans (CC BY-SA 3.0) and Maxim Massalitin (CC BY-SA 2.0), via Wikimedia Commons.
