Tumbas fenicias de Tánger

Tangier · Ad No. 626

On the cliff in the Marshan neighborhood, facing the Strait of Gibraltar, dozens of tombs carved into the rock over 2,000 years ago are preserved. They are one of the city's oldest vestiges and also offer some of the best views of the sea and the Spanish coast on clear days. Nearby is the famous Café Hafa, with its tiered terraces overlooking the cliff. It is a perfect spot for an evening stroll and to connect with Tangier's ancient history. 📷 Photographs courtesy of Ideophagous (CC BY-SA 4.0), via Wikimedia Commons.
