Playa de Achakar

South of Cape Spartel, Achakar beach is an extensive stretch of golden sand washed by the Atlantic, very close to the Caves of Hercules. Its sunsets are among the most spectacular in the region and its waves attract surfers. In summer it fills with families from Tangier, while out of season it is a wild and peaceful place.
