Built in the 12th century by the Almohads, the Kasbah Mosque is one of the oldest in Marrakech. Its minaret, decorated with geometric patterns of brick and green ceramic, dominates the kasbah neighborhood alongside the Saadian Tombs. Although the interior is reserved for Muslims, its exterior and the surrounding square are well worth a stop. At sunset, the storks nesting on the nearby walls complete a very beautiful scene. 📷 Photographs courtesy of Hans Peter Schaefer Url: http://reserv-a-rt.de (CC BY-SA 3.0), Casual Builder (CC BY-SA 4.0) and t_y_l (CC BY-SA 2.0), via Wikimedia Commons.
