Bab Agnaou y las murallas de Marrakech

Marrakech · Ad No. 618

Marrakech is surrounded by nearly 19 kilometers of 12th-century red pisé walls, featuring around twenty monumental gates. The most beautiful is Bab Agnaou, a bluish stone Almohad gate decorated with Koranic inscriptions that provided access to the royal kasbah. Exploring the walls by horse-drawn carriage at sunset is a very original way to see the city. Bab Agnaou is right next to the Saadian Tombs, making them easy to visit together. 📷 Photographs courtesy of Donar Reiskoffer (CC BY 3.0), No machine-readable author provided.
