Medersa Ben Youssef

Founded in the 14th century and rebuilt in the 16th, the Ben Youssef Medersa was the largest Quranic school in North Africa, with capacity for around 900 students. Its large courtyard with a central pool is a breathtaking display of zellige, carved stucco, and cedar wood. On the upper floor, you can visit the small cells where the students lived.
