Fuente y barrio de Mouassine

Marrakech · Ad No. 621

The Mouassine neighborhood is one of the most authentic in the medina, featuring its 16th-century mosque and a monumental carved wood and zellige fountain that once supplied water to local residents and pack animals. Its narrow streets hide riads, quality artisan shops, and Le Jardin Secret. It is a peaceful and photogenic walk just minutes from Jemaa el Fna. It is well worth stopping at its small rooftop cafes to view the rooftops of the medina. 📷 Photographs courtesy of Martin Furtschegger (CC BY 3.0) and Oumaima Loudini (CC BY-SA 4.0), via Wikimedia Commons.
